How do I organize a small closet with no drawers?

Add drawers where the floor or a low shelf has room: a fabric or plastic drawer tower under short-hanging clothes, plus lidded linen or rattan bins for folded items on the top shelf. Measure the width under your shortest hanging section first — the Closet Layout Builder shows how towers and bins fit that width to scale.

What size storage bins fit a standard closet shelf?

Measure shelf depth and the clear height above it. Most reach-in shelves are around 12–16 in (30–40 cm) deep, so bins about 26–32 cm deep sit flush without hanging over the edge. Each product page lists measured sizes where we have them.

Are fabric drawer towers strong enough for clothes?

They are made for folded, light items — T-shirts, underwear, scarves, kids’ clothes. Keep heavy jeans and sweaters in the lower drawers and do not use the top as a shelf for heavy objects.
